The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro is set to debut at the New York Auto Show next week, and while a lot is still unknown about the 2014 Camaro, there are a few rumors swirling around that give hints to the upcoming sports car’s features.
2013 Chevy Camaro: What to Expect?
Exterior: The Chevy Camaro has been an incredibly popular vehicle since it was reborn in 2010. Because of the popularity, it is unlikely that Chevy has made significant changes to the body. The teaser photo does show redesigned grille, which has vertical bars in front of a horizontal layout. We expect slight changes, but nothing drastic from the impressive 2013 model.
Powertrain: It’s all rumors at this point, but most expect two engines in particular. In December, there was an article on Chevy’s website that hinted at a 7.0L V8, which (again: rumors) would crank out 505 horsepower. There is also a hope that Chevy will include the twin turbo-charged 3.6L V6 that is officially slotted for the 2014 Cadillac CTS.
Interior: To be fair, this is probably the most unknown aspect of the upcoming debut. While the Camaro is not a luxury car (and has never tried to be) there is a solid chance that Chevy will add more convenience features and tweak the interior comforts.
Performance will be the theme for Chevy, as they will be displaying the Chevrolet SS, Chevy’s first rear-wheel drive sedan since 1996, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and the newly refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro.
