UPDATE : THE 2014 CHEVY SILVERADO IS AVAILABLE NOW!
According to General Motors, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, along with its cousin the GMC Sierra, will have the most fuel-efficient V-8 engines in its class.
Promising better fuel-economy than the turbocharged V-6 engine that is found in the Ford F-150, GM Chevrolet’s parent company, said the redesigned Chevy Silverado will get 23 mpg highway, surpassing the F-150’s current mark of 22 mpg.
Not only will the Silverado be the most fuel-efficient truck in the segment, it will also maintain the segment’s highest tow rating.
The newly restyled, fuel-sipping Chevrolet Silverado will be arriving at Pat McGrath Chevyland later this summer.
Three Engines to Power Your Life
The 2014 Chevy Silverado will have three fuel-efficient engines that are expected bring power and performance to every job. These engines have been designed with innovative technology that will change the way trucks are built in the future:
- Direct fuel injection
- Variable Valve Timing
- Active Fuel Management
- GM’s EcoTec3 technology
Whether you value comfort, power, fuel-efficiency, or versatility, the 2014 Chevy Silverado will meet your needs.
A History of Hard-Work
General Motors has been creating hard-working, long-lasting trucks since 1930. Although the “Silverado” name was originally used to define a Chevy pickup trim package, it has now become synonymous with long-hauling power and reliability.
The fuel-economy numbers for the 2014 Silverado are just the latest way in which Chevy has been setting the standard for American trucks. The tradition for innovative technology and segment leadership continues with the 2014 Chevy Silverado.
