Chevy Volt Drivers Exceeding EPA Estimates

EPA estimates put the Chevy Volt’s gas-free range at 90 MPGe, and Volt owners are consistently achieving, and surpassing, that mark.  

According to General Motors, Volt owners who regularly charge their carss achieve about 900 miles between fill-ups, saving an average of $1,300 a year. Some Volt drivers have even reported achieving 9,000-10,000 miles between trips to the gas station!

First 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Auctioned for $1.1 Million

The very first 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was auctioned off this weekend at the Barrett-Jackson automotive auction in Scottsdale, AZ, and the lucky winner claimed his prize for a cool $1.1 million. Rick Hendrick, a NASCAR team owner, beat out the competition during the automotive auction to be the first person to own the new model Stingray. Both it and its convertible cousin will be available at car dealerships nationwide later this year.

Camaro Convertible Hot Wheels Edition makes First Appearance

Chevy has revealed the Hot Wheels Edition Camaro Convertible in a very unique way, by loaning 33 of them to major directors of the Indianapolis 500.

Chevy lined up the 33 convertibles at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and one to each director as a way of highlighting the special edition Camaro and the build-up to the Indianapolis 500.

When the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray becomes available this summer, only a select group of Chevy dealerships will be given initial access to the newly restyled and highly anticipated sports car.

VIDEO: New Chevrolet Ad Promotes Siri Eyes Free Integration

Chevrolet was the first automaker to integrate Apple’s Siri personal assistant into its vehicles, beginning with the Chevrolet Sonic and Chevrolet Spark, and they’re promoting that fact in a new ad campaign!

The new TV spot is called “Buttons,” and features the all-new Chevrolet Sonic and “the button to end all buttons.” When pressed, the button in question enable’s Apple’s Siri through a driver’s iPhone, allowing the driver to ask the electronic personal assistant any number of questions with their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road.
