Chevy Donates 24 Vans to Sandy Relief

General Motors has announced they will donate 24 Chevrolet Express vans to Habitat for Humanity for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

The vans will leave Atlanta loaded with tools from Lowes and Robert Bosch Tool Co. and head directly to Staten Island, NY and Union Beach, NJ where they will be dispatched to specific job sites.

The vans will help haul tools and volunteers to specific areas where homes and buildings were destroyed by October’s Hurricane Sandy, which affected a large portion of the East Coast, including New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Upcoming Chevy SS Headed for NASCAR

Chevrolet recently announced that its’ NASCAR racer will be based on the 2014 Chevy SS (Super Sport) which will be available to the public in early 2013.

The upcoming Chevrolet SS performance sedan will be the first rear wheel drive vehicle offered to US customers by Chevy in over 15 years. (Rear-wheel Chevy police cars have been patrolling our streets for years.)  The new sedan will feature a V8 engine and is expected to provide a powerful addition to Chevrolet’s current lineup of cars, SUVs, and trucks.
